25mm (22mm) Woven Finish Roll Wrapped Carbon Fibre Tube

High strength roll wrapped carbon fibre tube with a glossy, woven carbon fibre finish meaning it looks as well as it performs. This sturdier 1.5mm wall thickness variant of the 25mm OD tube is particularly popular for more demanding applications such as high load quad/optocopters, flying platforms, camera rigs and similar.

This tube has an outside diameter (OD) of 25mm and an inside diameter (ID) of 22mm, resulting in a 1.5mm wall thickness and is manufactured using alternating layers of high strength unidirectional carbon fibre running length-ways down the tube for stiffness and at 90° around the tube to provide hoop strength and resilience to crush, burst and torsional loads. Externally the tube is finished with a smooth, UV stable clear coat showing off the classic appearance of its 2x2 twill woven carbon fibre outer layer.

With the classic appearance of 2/2 twill carbon fibre coupled with 100% roll-wrapped prepreg carbon fibre construction, these remarkable tubes look as good as they perform.

The tube listed on this page has an outside diameter of 25mm and an inside diameter of 22mm meaning that it has a wall thickness of 1.5mm suitable for most standard applications for a tube of this diameter. As an alternative we also carry a 25mm(23mm) Woven Finish Carbon Fibre Tube where the thinner 1mm wall thickness is better suited to weight-critical applications, particularly arms on quadcopter/multicopter frames.

This diameter tube is ideally suited to a wide range of applications such as radio controlled models (wing joiners for planes), UAVs, quadcopters/multi-rotors, recreational equipment, marine (tiller extensions), sporting goods, robotics and photography/video equipment (tripods etc.).
