12mm (10mm) Woven Finish Roll Wrapped Carbon Fibre Tube

High strength roll wrapped carbon fibre tube with a glossy, woven carbon fibre finish making them a great choice for a huge range of both structural and cosmetic applications including drones, UAVs, camera rigs, automation, tripods, lightweight structures and much more.

This tube has an outside diameter (OD) of 12mm and an inside diameter (ID) of 10mm, resulting in a 1mm wall thickness and is manufactured using alternating layers of high strength unidirectional carbon fibre running length-ways down the tube for stiffness and at 90° around the tube to provide hoop strength and resilience to crush, burst and torsional loads. Externally the tube is finished with a smooth, UV stable clear coat showing off the classic appearance of its 2x2 twill woven carbon fibre outer layer.

With the classic appearance of 2/2 twill carbon fibre coupled with 100% roll-wrapped prepreg carbon fibre construction, these remarkable tubes look as good as they perform.

The tube listed on this page has an outside diameter of 12mm and an inside diameter of 10mm meaning that it has a wall thickness of 1mm. As an alternative, we also carry a 12mm(11mm) Woven Finish Carbon Fibre Tube with the same 12mm outside diameter but with an 11mm inside diameter, resulting in a very light 0.5mm wall some for weight critical applications, such as quad-copter/multi-rotor rotor arms.

12mm outside diameter is one of the most common sizes for quadcopter/multicopter arms and so compatible with a range of existing saddle-type fittings.

This diameter tube is ideally suited to a wide range of applications such as radio controlled models, UAVs, recreational equipment, sporting goods, robotics and photography/video equipment (tripods etc.).
