0.28mm Micro Carbon Fibre Rod 1000mm

High precision pultruded carbon fibre rod measuring just 0.28mm in diameter! With such a tiny diameter this rod could be considered to be more of a control wire than a stiff rod and is suited to only the most precision scale uses such as ultra-light RC aircraft. Nonetheless, the rod is still manufactured to tight tolerances using high strength carbon fibre and an epoxy resin matrix for maximum performance.

Due to its incredible strength and light weight, carbon fibre rod is used in a wide range of applications including aerospace and motor racing but perhaps its most common use in recreational sports equipment like kites and radio controlled models.
